Azatirel Injection
Azatirel 100 mg Injection is a cytotoxic medication that contains Azacitidine, a nucleoside metabolic inhibitor used in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in patients not eligible for stem cell transplantation.
It works by restoring normal growth of bone marrow cells and slowing down the abnormal proliferation of immature blood cells. Administered by a healthcare professional via subcutaneous or intravenous injection, Azatirel is part of a treatment regimen to improve blood counts and delay progression of disease.
